《口罩，你戴對了嗎？》

隨着新冠肺炎疫情蔓延，能夠有效阻止病毒隨飛沫傳播的口罩成為搶手貨。在藥店排隊幾小時搶購到口罩，小心翼翼分發給家人，最後一步就是戴上口罩。然而戴口罩這個看似簡單的動作，你真的做對了嗎？

一、如何選擇合適的口罩

市面上比較常見的紙口罩、棉布口罩，大多用於防塵或保温，由於材質本身不夠緻密，無法阻斷病毒傳播。預防病毒感染需要佩戴專業的口罩：醫用外科口罩，N95口罩、KN95口罩或更高級別的口罩。

Paper and cotton masks found common on market are produced to prevent dust or heat, which means materials of these masks are not dense enough to block out the virus. Preventing virus infection requires professional mask including: surgcal masks, N95 masks, KN95 masks orhigher level ones.

二、正確佩戴口罩

不少人隨手拿起口罩就戴上，其實戴口罩前後都要清潔雙手，避免污染口罩。分清口罩正反上下，有色一面朝外，有鼻夾的一側朝上。戴上後要將折面完全展開，將口、鼻和下巴完全包住；沿鼻樑按緊鼻夾，防止病菌從空隙滲入。長時間佩戴口罩後，口罩吸水層受潮，容易滋生細菌，要及時更換。

Many people put on their masks casually. In order to avoid the contamination of masks, however, we should clean hands properly before wearing. We should identify the top/bottom, inside/outside of the mask: the colored side should face outwards, and the nose clip is on the top side. After putting on, fully unfold the mask to cover mouth, nose and jaw completely. Then bend in the nose clip over the nose bridge to stay airtight.

三、摘口罩也需要注意

摘口罩也有講究，脱下口罩前要清潔雙手；脱下綁帶式口罩時，應先解開頸後的綁帶， 然後解開頭頂的綁帶；脱下掛耳式的口罩時，把口罩的橡筋從雙耳除下，儘量避免觸摸口罩向外部分，因為這一面可能已沾染病菌。丟棄脱下的口罩後，也要記得洗手。

Remove the mask carefully. Before removing your mask, you need to wash your hands. Forface masks with ties: untie the strap round your neck first, then untie the onearound your head. For face masks with ear loops: remove the elastic band from your ears and avoid touching the outside layer, which may contain virus and bacteria. Remember to wash hands  again after disposing masks.

四、廢棄口罩不亂丟

凡在醫療機構中使用過的口罩，都直接投入醫療廢物垃圾袋中；市民用過的口罩放入廢棄口罩專用桶。

Masks used in medical institutions should be put into the medical waste bags. Masks used by citizens should be putinto an exclusive trash bin for discarded masks.
