蒙古人不喜歡中國人，主要是因為中國人的行為和西方人不同，他們錯誤地認為蒙古人不喜歡中國人是因為蒙古人害怕中國人。

To Mongolians, Chinese in Mongolia were seen as poor, illiterate, dirty, loud, having bad manners and sometimes criminals. (Side note, Mongolia’s literacy rate was 99% in the 1960s, while China’s was 65% in the 1980s.)

Since 1990, when Sino-Mongolian relation was normalized, Mongolians who went to China verbalized their culture shock experiences of first time seeing widespread poverty, extreme uncleanliness, bad manners (spitting everywhere, being extremely loud, fighting in public) and dishonest conduct regarding money.

不僅蒙古人不喜歡中國人，而且所有中國的鄰國也不喜歡中國。中國你需要尊重他人的文化、主權和情感。中國人喜歡認為自己的文化是最偉大的，每個人都應該欣賞和模仿，每一塊土地都屬於中國，尤其是出國旅行時，他們不關心周圍的人：所以他們用普通話大聲説話，在湖裏撒尿，在寺廟裏撒尿，表現得好像他們擁有這片土地。自從中國現在有了致命的手段把他們的體重扔來滾去，情況就變得更糟了。嘆息…

Not only Mongolians dislike Chinese (read Chinese from China), but all China’s neighbors also dislike China. China you need to respect others’ culture, sovereignty, and sensibility. Chinese love to think their culture is the greatest and everyone should admire and emulate, every land belongs to China, and especially when they travel abroad they don’t care about people around them: so they speak loudly in Mandarin, pee in the lakes, in the temple ground, acting like they own the land. And it only getting worse since China now has the lethal mean to throw their weight around. Sigh…

蒙古人對中國人民沒有任何具體的反對。此外，我們與包括中國在內的所有鄰國都有友好關係。當然，國與國之間也有一些問題，與周邊大國的經濟和政治壓力有關，但這絕對不是仇恨的理由。

Mongolians don’t have anything specific against Chinese people. Moreover we have friendly relationships with all our neighbours including China. Of course there are some issues between countries, linked with an economical and political pressure from big surrounding countries, but its definitely not a reason for hateness.
