記者當場靈魂拷問，澳總理：我早學會厚臉皮了

澳大利亞廣播公司（ABC）12日報道稱，面對“撒謊成性”的指控，澳大利亞總理莫里森近日回應稱，自己早已學會“厚臉皮”去工作。

當地時間12日，莫里森接受墨爾本當地電台3AW採訪，記者詢問他是否曾在公共生活中撒過謊，莫里森回答説：“我相信我沒有（I don’t believe I have no, no）。”

記者又問“澳前總理特恩布爾説你撒謊成性，你怎麼看？” 莫里森稱：“這是政治，人們總是對我冷嘲熱諷……”

“How does it feel when a former mate, Malcolm Turnbull, calls you a serial liar?”

“…it’s politics. People take sledges at me all the time …”

記者立即追問，“但他是你的朋友，他説你一直是個騙子。”

莫里森尷尬地辯解稱，“我已經在長期的公共生活中學會了厚臉皮。” 他表示，公共生活需要厚臉皮，政客們必須準備好接受“槍林彈雨”，否則就得下台。

" I’ve learned in public life over a long period of time to not have a thin skin, to not get bitter."

Mr Morrison said public life required a thick skin, and politicians must be prepared to receive “slings and arrows” or get out of the job.

近日，莫里森背上了“騙子”的罵名。

據澳媒SBSnews報道，法國總統馬克龍參加G20領導人峯會期間稱，莫里森在取消潛艇合同一事上對他撒了謊，破壞了兩國之間的信任。

當時，G20會場一名澳大利亞記者向馬克龍提問：你是否認為莫里森在潛艇合同上撒謊了？對此，馬克龍直截了當地回答：“我不用認為，我知道。”

Mr Macron made the accusation against Mr Morrison when he was asked at the G20 summit in Rome about whether thought he was lied to over the submarine deal.

“I don’t think, I know,” he responded.

隨後，澳大利亞前總理馬爾科姆·特恩布爾在11月1日參加聯合國氣候變化大會（COP26）時直言，莫里森“以撒謊而著稱”（had a reputation for telling lies）。

據悉尼先驅晨報報道，特恩布爾告訴記者，2105年—2018年兩人共事期間，莫里森曾“在很多場合對他撒謊”。

“Oh, he’s lied to me on many occasions,” Mr Turnbull said when journalists asked him about the events on the sidelines of the summit.

“無論你在哪裏騙人都是不好的，當你在國際層面上這樣做，會產生更嚴重的後果。”特恩布爾表示。

“Deceiving people is bad wherever you do it but when you do it at an international level it has much graver ramifications.”

經過這些指控後，澳大利亞天空新聞稱，“人們對莫里森的真實性提出了質疑”，而對於欲在明年5月舉行的選舉中尋求連任的莫里森而言，這無疑將成為他的潛在弱點。
