- Vietnam has many trade agreements with major markets in the world

-Vietnam shares a border with China which is convenient for importing raw materials for production.

-Vietnam has a culture quite similar to countries such as China, Korea, and Japan.

-Vietnam is supported by the West to develop to fight China

-Vietnam has a stable and peaceful politics and the four leaders of Vietnam are very good.

And the most important thing is the human factor.

North Korea is under sanctions. Otherwise it would have taken off economically. Look at democratic India and socialist China. Democratic India is so far way way behind socialist China. US wants poor countries to be democratic as this will keep them poor. US, western Europe, Taiwan, Japan, Singapore were not democratic when they were developing their economies.

2. There used to be about 2000 Vietnamese refugees sought asylum in Viet Ville (Palawan) but now only 5 families are still living there, most of the refugees migrated to America, Canada and Australia…

@Bảo Anh Đinh GDP gap between Philippines and veitnam are very small… veitnam open their FDI.. Philippines not open their FDI… it is possible Philippines can surpass veitnam GDP if Philippines open their FDI

菲律賓和越南的gdp差距非常小。越南對外國直接投資持開放態度，而菲律賓卻不是這樣。如果菲律賓開放外國投資的話，那麼菲律賓的gdp可能就會超過越南。

@JitWaMee ok.. veitnam already open their FDI for a long time.. Philippines open their FDI in mid 2022.. their is a big chance Philippines can over take veitnam GDP… the gap is very small.

越南在很久之前就已經開放外國投資了，菲律賓在2022年年中開放外國投資。菲律賓的gdp很有可能將會超過越南，兩國的差距非常小。
