ChatGPT為何脱穎而出？OpenAI總裁這樣回答_風聞

4月13日，OpenAI總裁Sam Altman在麻省理工舉辦的一場分享會上談到ChatGPT成功的“秘訣”：

“We’ve been [building] the company for seven years. These things take a long, long time. I would say by and large in terms of why it worked when others haven’t: It’s just because we’ve beenon the grind sweating every detailfor a long time. And most people aren’t willing to do that. ”

七年磨礪無人問，一朝成名天下知。ChatGPT之所以能脱穎而出，“內因”可以歸結於八個字：打磨細節，鍥而不捨。

如果再加上一點“外因”，那就是：“多數人不願為之（And most people aren’t willing to do that.）”。

中國人以“鐵杵磨成針”喻“鍥而不捨”之精神；英文“on the grind”喻“work hard and consistently”，也是從“grind（研磨）”一詞引申開來。

不同語言文化下的隱喻思維常有相通之處，中英文都以“磨”喻“鍥而不捨”，大概是因為無論磨鐵還是磨豆，都很枯燥乏味吧！

英文“sweat every detail”也是隱喻表達，在“細節上揮灑汗水”就是“在細節上下苦功夫”，“sweat”比直説“work hard on”更形象。

鍥而不捨，金石可鏤，有此毅力已超過大多數人。Sam Altman的回答讓文刀君想到荀子的一句名言：道雖邇，不行不至；事雖小，不為不成。
