得過且過._風聞

五台山上有一種鳥，叫寒號鳥，它生有肉翅但不能翱翔。

There is a bird called Hanhao Bird on Mount Wutai.It has meat wings but can’t fly.

每當夏季來臨時，寒號鳥就渾身長滿色彩斑斕的羽毛，它便自得地唱：“鳳凰不如我!鳳凰不如我!”。它天天都唱着，卻不知道搭窩。

Whenever summer comes, the Hanhao bird is covered in colorful feathers, and it proudly sings, “Phoenix is not as good as me! Phoenix is not as good as me. It sings every day, but doesn’t know how to build a nest.

等到深冬來臨的時候，它雖然很冷，但還是不搭窩，漂亮的羽毛也全部脱落了。當寒風襲來的時候，這光禿禿的肉鳥無可柰何地哀鳴：“得過且過!得過且過!”

讀後：目光短淺的人，面對一點點成績就沾沾自喜。對將來的一切都沒有計劃，他們只看現在，能偷懶就偷懶，能過去就不努力。他們一旦碰到挫折就會沒精打采，消極悲觀。

After reading: Short sighted people tend to be complacent when faced with just a few achievements. They have no plans for everything in the future, they only look at the present. If they can be lazy, they will be lazy, and if they can be past, they will not work hard. Once they encounter setbacks, they will be listless and pessimistic.

得過且過：只要能夠過得去，就這樣過下去。形容胸無大志。
