Ya they put a lot of chemical to make crops grow faster, or their people will suffer hunger. By the way, using chemicals product such as fertiliser is the modern way, and widely used by most of the country in the world

Since China and India have the same population, people will have some doubts when comparing the two countries. Here are some interesting facts about the agriculture of the two countries:

China has about 7% of the world’s farmland but feeds 20% of the worlds population. Meanwhile India has 10% of the world’s farmland but only produce less than half of what China does
