楊奕萌自述：

作為一個土生土長的上海人，同時作為一個音樂劇愛好者，你沒猜錯——我愛上海的理由之一，便是音樂劇。作為國際大都市，上海有一份海納百川的胸懷，立足當下又放眼世界，將這種大眾化、具有觀賞性的藝術形式不斷帶給千家萬户。

二十一世紀初以來，上海引進了許多音樂劇，諸如《悲慘世界》《劇院魅影》以及《搖滾莫扎特》，在本城乃至全國激起了熱烈反響。這些經典劇目的引進，不僅讓音樂劇的概念深入人心，也催生了音樂劇產業在上海的孕育，吸引眾多觀眾來到上海觀劇。

近幾年，由於製作水平的不斷提升，加上全球疫情對於引進劇的影響，上海開始探索音樂劇改編與原創的嘗試。從製作經典作品的中文版，到創辦自己的音樂劇綜藝，上海不斷引領大眾媒體對音樂劇關注和支持，也為眾多音樂劇愛好者提供了交流與探索的空間。

相信上海會帶領音樂劇文化在中國越來越繁榮，讓這座充滿活力的城市永遠盪漾最優美的歌聲！

Shanghai is the musical. As an international metropolis, Shanghai is always open-minded to constantly bringing this popular and enjoyable art form to thousands of families.

Sincethe beginning of the 21st century, musicals such as Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera and Mozart L’Opéra Rock, were introduced to Shanghai, which got well-received debuts in our city and even the whole country. The introduction of these classical plays not only made the concept of the musicals deeply rooted in people’s hearts, but also gave birth to the musical industry in Shanghai, attracting audience all over the world to come to Shanghai to watch plays.

In recent years, due to the continuous improvement of production level and the impact of the epidemic, Shanghai began to explore. From the production of Chinese versions of classical works to the creation of original musical reality shows, Shanghai has led the mass media to pay attention to musical art and has also provided a space for many musical lovers to communicate.

I believe that Shanghai will carry forward musical culture in the near future.
